Materials Used to Create our Rosaries

PLEASE NOTE:  Our rosaries parts are printed with a variety of filaments. When there is a reference to ‘Silk’, ‘Marble’, or ‘Metal’ please note that this refers to the look and feel of the printed parts of the rosary. The silk, marble, and metal are not made of or even contain silk, marble, or metal in their composition. The ‘wood’ material is actually infused with wood powder to give it a unique appearance and texture and the carbon fiber filament is enhanced with carbon fiber.

CHOKING HAZARD—Small parts. Not a toy. Not for children:

Most importantly, please keep finger rosary rings out of the reach of small children.

PLA:  Polylactic acid, is a biodegradable plastic derived from renewable resources like corn, sugarcane, or tapioca, making it a popular eco-friendly alternative to traditional oil-based plastics. PLA is a versatile material used in applications ranging from food packaging and disposable tableware to fibers for textiles and even biomedical devices. While it can be composted, it requires specific industrial conditions to fully break down.

PETG:  PETG, or polyethylene terephthalate glycol, is a versatile thermoplastic used in both food packaging and 3D printing, offering a balance of ease of use and durability. It's known for its toughness, temperature resistance, good chemical and UV resistance, and formability, making it suitable for functional parts, and outdoor applications.

TPU:  Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU), is a rubber-like material, flexible yet semi-rigid.  This printing filament is designed for applications requiring durability, elasticity, and abrasion resistance. It offers excellent flexibility, toughness, and impact resistance.

'Silk'

Indulge in a luxuriously smooth and silky texture, complemented by a mesmerizing shimmery finish.

Our beads, rings, and crucifixes printed from Silk PLA present a breathtaking shimmery appearance, giving way to a wonderfully smooth and seamless experience when you maneuver the beads around the ring.

'Wood'

Our 'Wood' finger rosaries utilize a PLA  mixed with a very fine wood powder which leads to a realistic wood-like appearance and texture.

Experience the rich, lightly grainy feel of natural wood as these beads, rings, and crucifixes replicate authentic wood tones and textures. These rosaries have a stunning, natural organic finish that truly enhances the handcrafted look.

Matte

Our finger rosaries printed with Matte PLA offer a smooth, non-glossy appearance giving way to a sleek, refined look.

'Marble'

Marble beautifully imitates the look of natural stone. Its composition includes inorganic particles, providing a vibrant stone-like texture that closely resembles marble, granite, or bricks.

The beads glide gracefully around the ring and, upon contact, they feel smooth while subtly hinting at a delicate texture.

'Metal' (Coming Soon)

Our 'Metal' rosary parts are produced with PLA Metal which is a metallic textured filament designed to enhance the aesthetic look of the rosary parts. It is designed to replicate the surface texture of metal; however, it does not include any actual metal fillers.

Featuring a beautiful metallic luster, these finger rosary parts offer a refined, high-quality finish and a touch of sophisticated elegance.

Carbon Fiber (Rings only, for now)

Carbon Fiber finger rosaries parts are crafted using PETG filament infused with carbon fibers, resulting in superior strength, rigidity, and a modern finish that showcases the  unique carbon texture.

These rosaries parts provide an exceptional tactile experience and boast excellent temperature resistance along with unparalleled durability.

Translucent (coming soon)

PETG-Translucent rosary parts have a very unique light and clean appearance.  Finger rosaries created with this material have an increased water resistance and are less sensitive to high temperatures.  Coming soon!
